By placing an order with The Vegan Bakes you are agreeing to these terms & conditions.
Brownies & cookies have a shelf life of 7 days and must be kept in a sealed container in a cool place.
Cakes & cupcakes should be eaten within 3 days and should be kept refrigerated.
Our cakes sometimes contain non-edible items such as dowels & you will be notified on collection. It is your responsibility to remove these before serving or eating.
Please get in contact to discuss allergies before ordering.
We use GLUTEN & SOYA heavily in our baking and therefore cannot guarantee gluten free or soya free if baking with alternatives.
We also handle nuts in the kitchen so cannot accommodate nut allergies.
Postal items will be sent using a courier due to COVID-19 & therefore there may be some delays with your items and some parcels may take over 7 days to arrive. We’re unable to guarantee your items will arrive by a specific date. When ordering during this time, you are accepting the chance your bakes arrival maybe delay. It is out of my control once your bakes have been posted.
Your items will be delivered to the address you entered on your order and we cannot accept any liability for failed delivery due to an incorrect address. Someone needs to be available at the delivery address at the time of the delivery. The Vegan Bakes take no responsibility for delays or spoiling of items due to no one being available at the delivery address. During warm weather, we suggest putting your bakes straight into the fridge when they arrive. They might have got abit damaged during transit but unfortunately this is completely out of our control & you accept this is a possibility when ordering.
I take a 50% non-refundable deposit upfront for all celebration & wedding cake orders. Once this deposit is received, your date & cake will be secured.
The remaining balance for your cake is due 2 weeks prior for celebration cakes & 8 weeks prior for wedding cakes. If you’re ordering with less than 4 weeks notice of the event date, full payment is required upon booking. Your order is only confirmed once payment is received. If payment isn’t made by the agreed dates, we have a right to cancel the order. The deposits are non-refundable & non-transferable regardless of this.
If you want to cancel your order, please let me know asap. If your order has already been baked we’re unable to cancel & give you a refund. Cancellation should be made within 24 hours of ordering but on occasion I may have already baked your goods. For celebration cakes: Orders cancelled before final payment is made will not receive your deposit back. If full payment is made and you cancel 7 days prior to your event, you will be refunded 50% but your deposit will be retained. If you cancel within the 7 days prior to your event the full payment will be retained. If your event has been postponed we will transfer your order & payment to your new date, subject to availability.

Once a cake leaves my property, I am no longer responsible for any damages the cake might endure during any journeys, storing or set up.

Due to the perishable nature of my products, unfortunately I am unable to offer refunds. Once you have placed an order, it is your responsibility to be available to receive the delivery. Please bare in mind the products are delicate & may break easily & on rare occasions they may not have been handled with care & items may arrive in a bad condition.
If you are unhappy with any of our items you must notify us in writing to firstname.lastname@example.org. This must be sent immediately upon receipt of product. You must include evidence of any faults or damages. Any refunds will be given at my discretion.
